Anti-Ragging Committee

Penna College of Cement Sciences is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all students. The institution strictly prohibits ragging in any form and follows a zero-tolerance policy as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to prevent, monitor, and address any incidents of ragging within the campus. The committee works proactively to create awareness among students about the serious consequences of ragging and promotes a culture of mutual respect and harmony.

Objectives

• To ensure a ragging-free campus environment
• To create awareness about anti-ragging laws and regulations
• To encourage students to report any incidents without fear
• To take immediate and strict action against offenders

Committee Functions

• Conduct regular awareness programs and orientations for students
• Monitor student activities within the campus and hostels
• Provide a platform for students to raise complaints confidentially
• Take disciplinary action as per institutional and UGC norms
